Liquid Design is a supplier of high quality and bespoke brassware and sanitaryware products. Our aim is to offer a competitive supply price and comprehensive ‘project related’ advice and assistance on all the products that we supply. We also design and install bathrooms and wetrooms.

The origin of Liquid Design can be traced back to the early 1970’s. Initially the company was involved in refurbishing buildings for private individuals and housing associations.

During the 1980’s the company refurbished many buildings in the London area, and was often involved in the extensive refurbishment of listed properties.

In the early 1990’s the company started to focus on work for insurance companies and loss adjusters. This work ranged from rebuilding fire and flood damaged properties to the underpinning of houses. We also found that we were frequently becoming involved in the repair of failed bathroom plumbing and the consequential damage it caused.

As a result, towards the end of the 1990’s, we began to focus on the installation of bathrooms. During this period we began to encounter customers who were looking for a contractor with the confidence to undertake the installation of a wetroom. This led to the successful ‘leak free’ installation of a number of wetrooms. At the time wetrooms were still fairly unusual in the United Kingdom and the demand for the expertise we gained, during the successful installation of a these first few wetrooms, started to increase. Eventually the design and installation of wetrooms became our main business.

At the start of the millennium we commenced trading under the name of Liquid Design, as it seemed more appropriate for the type of work we were involved in.

In 2003 Liquid Design entered into partnership with Fired Earth, offering a design and installation service for their customers throughout the UK. Liquid Design successfully offered this service to Fired Earth customers for over two years. Recognizing the benefit of our service, Fired Earth decided to launch their own design and installation service in 2005. This gradually brought our involvement with Fired Earth to an end in 2006.

Our design and installation service is now concentrated toward installing bathrooms and wetrooms throughout London and along the M1 corridor towards Northamptonshire, where we are based. Although, we do occasionally work outside this area.

Liquid Design still has a keen interest in designing and installing high specification wet rooms and bathrooms in residential properties, but in recent years we have become increasingly involved with the supply of brassware and bathroom equipment.

The knowledge we’ve gained installing many of the manufacturers products that we supply, and the assistance that we are able to provide to both private individuals and other contractors has enabled us to expand this side of our business.

We primarily supply equipment to small and medium size contractors however we are becoming increasingly involved in the supply chain for some large contracting organisations.

Today our business is designing and installing bathrooms and wetrooms, and supplying brassware, sanitaryware and swimming pool area furniture.
